WDAS (105.3)/Philadelphia To Hold Annual Women of Excellence Luncheon

iHEARTMEDIA Urban AC WDAS (105.3)/PHILADELPHIA will have JOE, ERIC BENET, LEELA JAMES, and YUNA perform at its 3rd annual WDAS WOMEN OF EXCELLENCE LUNCHEON. 

SUSAN L. TAYLOR will be among the honorees; Editor in Chief Emeritus of ESSENCE MAGAZINE and Founder/CEO of the NATIONAL CARES MENTORING MOVEMENT.

This years festivities are being presented by GWYNEDD MERCY UNIVERSITY and PHILLYJUSTICE.com.  The luncheon will take place on SATURDAY, APRIL 1st, from 11a-5p (ET) at the SHERATON PHILADELPHIA DOWNTOWN HOTEL.

Other honorees will include; FOX 29 Reporter/Weather Anchor SUE SERIO, HARRAH’s PHILADELPHIA VP/Assistant GM JACQUELINE GRACE, First Lady of the ENON TABERNACLE BAPTIST CHURCH VP Dr. ELLYN JO WALLER, PHILADELPHIA City Councilwoman JANNIE BLACKWELL, and PHILADELPHIA CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU Pres./CEO JULIE COKER GRAHAM.

Dir. News/Community Affairs LORAINE BALLARD MORRILL said, “105.3 WDAS FM is committed to empowering and celebrating the women in the TRISTATE area.  We look forward to an afternoon of great music, while recognizing the achievements of the most prominent women in our community.”

MORRILL will host the event along with air personalities PATTY JACKSON and FRANKIE DARCELL.
