Nielsen Finds And Corrects 'Isolated Processing Issue' Before January PPM Release

NIELSEN has uncovered a isolated processing issue in the NIELSEN Week 1 PPM Weeklies data for JANUARY 2017. The data were corrected in the PPM JANUARY Monthly data, scheduled to begin releasing today, FEBRUARY 21st at noon local time.

When comparing the Week 1 Weeklies data to the data from the JANUARY Monthly data for week 1, clients may notice some slight variation in the data.

Please note that the JANUARY Monthly data, and all the weekly data contained within, will be correct when released.

NIELSEN is taking additional steps to identify and execute new quality assurance checks to prevent a recurrence.
