Sprockit, NAB Show Pick First 10 Participating Companies For 2017 Development Program

SPROCKIT and the NAB SHOW have announced the first 10 start-ups picked to participate in SPROCKIT’s 2017 year-long program. The program for emerging companies to work on developing new technologies for the broadcasting industry will select up to 30 participants; the companies will be showcased at the NAB SHOW, APRIL 22-27 in LAS VEGAS.
“SPROCKIT Hub at NAB SHOW brings together the right combination of established corporations and vetted start-ups to create partnerships that benefit both parties,” said SPROCKIT Founder and CEO HARRY GLAZER. “The right companies, the right places at the right time – that’s what SPROCKIT is.”
The first 10 participating companies in this year’s SPROCKIT program include:
- Streaming and on-demand content delivery system developer dotstudioPRO
- Content distribution platform EPIDEMIC SOUND
- Video "engagement solutions" developer EX MACHINA
- Video search app GUIDEBOX
- Digital video management and data analytics platform developer ICX MEDIA
- OTT video processing developer STREAMROOT
- Video distribution platform developer TRADECAST.TV
- Video clip sharing platform WILDMOKA
- VR/AR ad platform VERTEBRAE
- Video interactive engagement platform VYDEO
Applications for participation are still being taken on a rolling basis, although the deadline for space at the NAB SHOW is MARCH 1st.
