Geespin Exiting WWPR (Power 105.1)/New York & WJMN (Jam’n 94.5)/Boston

ALL ACCESS has confirmed that iHEARTMEDIA Urban WWPR (POWER 105.1)/NEW YORK APD/MD GEESPIN will soon be leaving his APD/MD post. He has held the position for 9-years (NET NEWS 7/15/08). In addition, he has also still been on the air at iHEARTMEDIA Top 40/Rhythmic WJMN (JAM’N 94.5)/BOSTON. This will be his last week there.

SPIN recently wrote on INSTAGRAM, "after an amazing 17 years on JAMN 94.5, this will be my last week on the air.  I'm grateful to of all the people I work with, for being unbelievably supportive in my decision to pivot and take on a new career challenge. 

"I'll be leaving my JAMN family this week, and my radio career (my POWER 105/IHEART family) later next month. I'll update you guys on my next move at a later date...... Now, it's just thank you.

"Thank you to all of the amazing co-workers, that I have had the pleasure of working with in my hometown.  I learned under some of the best programming minds, and on-air jocks to ever do it.  You all helped turn my one hour late night mix on a Friday night, into a 17 year dream.  Too many past and present JAMN alumni to name, but know you all left an impact.

"Thank you to all of the DJ's, artists, and label reps that I worked with, or hosted on my show. I made some great friends through those interactions. I'll always appreciate the support you showed me.

"Thank you to the listeners and people of BOSTON!  You embraced my idea of THE LAUNCH PAD 16 years ago, and I love that the brand stands strong today. You supported my daily night show for the past 13 years (numbers don't lie!!!), and you always came out to party with me (COSMOPOLITAN, FIRST FRIDAY's, ARIA, THE PALACE, BIJOU, and so many others).

"Lastly, thank you to my family & friends......Seventeen years at JAMN included me getting married & having two beautiful daughters (and a dog).   Anyone who is in our world of media/music, knows the amount of time with us our families sacrifice. Thank you."
