Martin Bandier Resigns From EMI Music Publishing

EMI MUSIC PUBLISHING Chairman MARTIN BANDIER announced his resignation today (10/30) during the company's annual managing directors meeting in NEW YORK, AP reports.
Spokesman STEVEN RUBENSTEIN told AP that BANDIER will stay on the job for the next six months as his contract runs through APRIL 2007. RUBENSTEIN also said BANDIER was "mulling" his next endeavor and that BANDIER has been in talks with several entities, including private-equity groups interested in backing a new publishing venture.
