KIXY/San Angelo, TX Radiothon Raises Over $154K

FOSTER COMMUNICATIONS Top 40 KIXY/SAN ANGELO raised over $154,000 at its 15th annual KIXY CARES FOR KIDS RADIOTHON on SATURDAY evening. The money will benefit the CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK at SHANNON MEDICAL CENTER.  

For three days, OM/PM-drivee RICK ANDREWS, VP/GM JAY MICHAELS and Miracle Mom DELAINE FUCHS broadcasted from SUNSET MALL and presented stories of the CONCHO VALLEY kids who have benefited from CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK.

“We honestly were going in expecting donations to be down, this year," KIXY PD SCOTT ADAMS said. "But our listeners proved us wrong! We beat last year’s total! We are on cloud nine and can’t express just how thankful we are for the incredible heart SAN ANGELO and the CONCHO VALLEY has! Once again, they proved why our CMN radiothon is the number-ONE radiothon in giving per capita in the country!”
