WSUN (97X)/Tampa To Rebrand As 'Blurryface Radio' In Support Of Twenty One Pilots On February 28th

Blurryface Radio Is Coming

COX MEDIA Alternative WSUN/TAMPA will rebrand from 97X, YOUR NEW ALTERNATIVE to “BLURRYFACE RADIO” on TUESDAY, FEBRURAY 28th in support of the sold-out TWENTY ONE PILOTS concert at AMALIE ARENA. 97X will turn everything into TWENTY ONE PILOTS for a full 24 hours.

“Listeners will hear live tracks, covers and exclusive TWENTY ONE PILOTS songs throughout every hour, all day long,”  said 97X Dir./Branding And Programming, DAN CONNELLY.

At 8a and 8p, 97X will countdown the eight biggest TWENTY ONE PILOTS songs with special editions of the 97X 8@8.

At noon, 97X will feature three live tracks from TWENTY ONE PILOT’s Blurryface tour with a special edition of the 97X Three Track Snack.

At 5p, “Blurryface Radio” will play an “Emotional Roadshow” mix -- a remix of TWENTY ONE PILOTS hits and deep tracks -- leading up to the show, for those on their afternoon commute from work and to the show.

From 5-7p “Blurryface Radio” will be hosting a CLIQUE PRE PARTY  at FERG’S LIVE for the band’s fan base -- the #SkeletonClique -- where they will be streaming exclusive TWENTY ONE PILOTS videos and green room performances across their big screens as well as offering drink specials.

After the show, TYLER JOSEPH and JOSH DUN of GRAMMY AWARD duo TWENTY ONE PILOTS will be hosting an after-concert takeover for one hour on “Blurryface Radio.”
