'La La Land' Streams Experience Post-Oscars Spike At Spotify

"La La Land" may have been robbed for the BEST PICTURE OSCAR by BONNIE & CLYDE, but their six other ACADEMY AWARD wins helped fuel interest at SPOTIFY.

Following an eventful night at the OSCARS, streams of the "La La Land" soundtrack increased 225% in the US, while streams of "City of Stars" increased a further 295%, calculated by comparing U.S. streams of the soundtrack an hour after the show with the exact same time period the week before.. 

"La La Land" picked up BEST ORIGINAL MUSIC SCORE and BEST ORIGINAL SONG for "City of Stars". The soundtrack has had over 190m streams on SPOTIFY worldwide.
