Jay Onrait And Dan O'Toole Return To Canada's TSN

JAY ONRAIT and DAN O'TOOLE are heading back home, as the former FS1 "FOX SPORTS LIVE" and "THE JAY AND DAN PODCAST" hosts rejoin CANADA's national sports cable network TSN for a nightly show.  "SC WITH JAY AND DAN," a reincarnation of their old SPORTSCENTRE show with an emphasis on humor, will debut this FALL at 12 midnight (ET) with replays the following morning and material offered on various BELL MEDIA shows and platforms. 

The move was announced TODAY on TSN's "TRADECENTRE" with JAY and DAN appearing via satellite from LOS ANGELES for a talk about the move with host JAMES DUTHIE and some joking about hockey; they did not indicate whether their longtime producer "PRODUCER TIM" MORIARTY would be returning with them, with ONRAIT saying that TIM is "a holdout... he's holding out for more money and more jars of KRAFT peanut butter."

"I'm excited to be coming home to TSN," said ONRAIT. "Also, I was about to be deported, so the timing couldn't be better."

"I can't tell you how many people have told me and JAY they grew up watching us on SPORTSCENTRE," said O'TOOLE. "It's what makes returning to the SC brand so special. It's what we love doing. It's what we have the most fun doing, and honestly, it's the only job we know how to do. We have no other skills."

The pair launched their podcast while at TSN and brought it with them when they joined FS1 in 2013; the BELL MEDIA announcement did not indicate whether the podcast will resume as the hosts move back to CANADA.
