Lady Gaga Will Fill In For Beyonce At Coachella

LADY GAGA will take over as the SATURDAY NIGHT headliner at this year's COACHELLA VALLEY MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL after BEYONCE, pregnant with twins, was forced to cancel under doctor's orders (NET NEWS 2/23)

GAGA will headline both weekends, APRIL 15th and 22nd -- it was revealed by festival promoter GOLDENVOICE last NIGHT. BEYONCE was rescheduled for next year's COACHELLA.

GAGA recently performed during halftime of SUPER BOWL LI in HOUSTON, then announced her JOANNE WORLD TOUR, starting in AUGUST, with a two-night run at THE FORUM on the 8th and 9th as well as a DECEMBER 18th date. She also sang "Moth Into Flame" with METALLICA at last month's GRAMMY AWARDS.

LADY GAGA now takes over from BEYONCE as the first female artist to top the bill since BJORK in 2007. 

GAGA tweeted last night, "Let's party in the desert," while posting the new COACHELLA lineup with her name.
