RIAA Awards 22 Album, 72 Digital Single Awards For February, Bowie Goes Gold

The RECORDING INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA certified 22 albums and 72 digital singles in its list of gold and platinum recipients for FEBRUARY.
MICHAEL JACKSON's "Thriller" topped the list of three multi-platinum albums, with certifications of 33x platinum, followed by "Bad" with 10 times platinum and the "Hamilton" soundtrack at three-times platinum.
BRUNO MARS' "24K Magic" and LITTLE BIG TOWN's "Pain Killer" were two of the total of six platinum albums, while DAVID BOWIE's "Blackstar" were among the 12 certified gold albums.
KATY PERRY's "Last FRIDAY Night (T.G.I.F.)" and TAYLOR SWIFT's "Bad Blood" topped the list of the RIAA's 13 multi-platinum digital singles for FEBRUARY, by going 5 times platinum apiece.
There was also a total of 21 platinum singles and 33 gold singles.
