Multiple media reports are confirming that singer/music industry veteran TOMMY PAGE has passed away at his home in PENNSYLVANIA. He was 46. PAGE enjoyed several hits, including #1 single “I’ll Be Your Everything,” and also held executive positions at WARNER BROS, SIRE RECORDS, BILLBOARD MAGAZINE, PANDORA and CUMULUS MEDIA, among others.
Born in NEW JERSEY, PAGE broke into the business after getting introduced to SIRE RECORDS founder SEYMOUR STEIN, who signed him to the label. His self-titled debut album featured the hit, "A Shoulder to Cry On," while his follow-up album, "Paintings in My Mind," boasted the #1 "I'll Be Your Everything," which was co-written and featured an appearance by NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK.
After a few more album releases and a Broadway appearance, PAGE segued to the music industry, first doing A&R for WARNER BROS., then taking positions at BILLBOARD, PANDORA, CUMULUS and THE VILLAGE VOICE. Up to last year, he was still performing in the PHILIPPINES.
He is survived by his husband, CHARLIE, and their three children.
