WESTWOOD ONE affiliate manager, former radio programmer, and recent COUNTRY RADIO HALL OF FAME inductee TIM CLOSSON is one step -- actually, however many steps add up to 13.1 miles -- closer to putting cancer on the beach for good. CLOSSON ran the MYRTLE BEACH HALF MARATHON on SATURDAY (3/4) as a benefit for the AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY (NET NEWS 3/2).
CLOSSON completed the race in 2 hours and 2 minutes, with a 9:20/mile average over the 13.1 mile course. CLOSSON tells ALL ACCESS, "A big thank you to all who donated!" Adding, "Final tabs on donations are not yet in...still time to donate this week in my honor." Help put cancer on the beach by donating here.
