Kane On A Mystery Morning Mission

Is it because it's HALLOWEEN? Either way, mystery shrouds the departure and destination of CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WFLZ (933 FLZ)/TAMPA PD/afternoon personality KANE. ALL ACCESS obtained this memo from CC RVPP and TAMPA OM DOUG HAMAND:

"It is with great excitement and yet disappointment that I announce the departure of KANE's body from the day-to-day building operations at WFLZ. KANE is an awesome air talent and in a very short time has come a long way with his programming skills. He is being transferred within the company to do morning drive in a Top 25 market.

"The great news for 933 FLZ is that he will continue to do his afternoon shift via the digital platform. Phone lines, web access etc. will be at his disposal on a daily afternoon basis from his state of the art 'home studio.' This pleases me in many ways as the continuity of the radio station will stay 'just as solid' as it is now! KANE's last day in the building will be this FRIDAY, please stop by and wish him well."

HAMAND, who will take over as interim PD until a replacement, added, "You will see him often though, as he will be back in town for certain events/remotes etc. He has done a fantastic job at 933 FLZ, and the good news is he will continue to do so! The drawback is that the excitement level he brings to the hall ways will be deeply missed. Please see me in the interim for your programming needs, as we will begin an immediate nationwide search for his replacement. Go get em', KANE!!!"
