FOX TELEVISION STATIONS, LLC has filed a request to continue its temporary waiver of the newspaper-broadcast cross-ownership rule to continue owning both the NEW YORK POST, FOX O&O WNYW-TV (FOX 5)/NEW YORK, and MY NETWORK TV affiliate WWOR-TV (MY 9)/SECAUCUS, NJ-NEW YORK.
The request, coming in the midst of renewed opposition to the newspaper-broadcast cross-ownership prohibition, involves an extension of its temporary waiver "to preserve the status quo, until 90 days following resolution of the pending petition for reconsideration of the Commission’s AUGUST 2016 decision to retain the NBCO rule as part of the 2014 Quadrennial Review."
Comments on FOX's application are due APRIL 10th with oppositions due by APRIL 25th and reply comments due on MAY 2nd.
