New York Knicks Radio, TV Analyst John Andariese Dies At 78

JOHN ANDARIESE, who provided analysis on radio and TV for the NEW YORK KNICKS, died MONDAY (3/13) at 78, the KNICKS have announced.
"JOHNNY HOOPS" called KNICKS games for 34 seasons, 21 paired with MARV ALBERT, starting with the 1972-73 season after stints calling college games. He was on radio in 1972-76, 1982-86, and 1998-2012, and on KNICKS telecasts in 1986-98.
He also served as a color commentator for ESPN and TBS' NBA coverage, called college games for NBC and ESPN, and hosted a show on NBA TV.
