Report: Michael Savage Says He Was Attacked By Man In Restaurant Parking Lot

WESTWOOD ONE syndicated talker MICHAEL SAVAGE says he was attacked and shoved to the ground by another customer at a restaurant in TIBURON, CA on TUESDAY (3/14).

SAVAGE's attorney DANIEL HOROWITZ told the SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE that the host was leaving dinner at SERVINO restaurant when someone he did not know began taunting SAVAGE in the parking lot, calling him "weenie" and "WEINER" (SAVAGE's real last name). The attorney says SAVAGE, with his hands full with his poodle and take-away bag, told the man to "get lost," after which the man pushed him to the ground, then punched him in the face when a bystander tried to break it up.

The TIBURON Police Department says an incident was reported, both men wanted to press charges, and a report is being sent to the MARIN COUNTY District Attorney's office.
