PEARL RECORDS artist GARTH BROOKS made a stop in HOUSTON last NIGHT (3/16) to announce that he will perform two shows during next YEAR's RODEOHOUSTON. BROOKS will open the event on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 27th, 2018 and also close the event as the final performer on SUNDAY, MARCH 18th, 2018.
"We are thrilled to welcome GARTH BROOKS back to the RODEOHOUSTON stage," said HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW AND RODEO Chairman of the Board JACK A. LYONS. "This is the first time in multi-entertainer SHOW history that one artist has opened and closed RODEOHOUSTON, and we could not think of a more engaging performer to take on this epic presentation."
BROOKS will head to AUSTIN, TX today (3/17) where he is slated to offer a keynote address at SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST (SXSW) alongside AMAZON MUSIC VP STEVE BOOM (NET NEWS 3/2).
