MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE is selling Contemporary Christian WHJT (STAR 93.5)/KEARNEY PARK-JACKSON, MS to CLAY E. HOLLADAY's NEW SOUTH RADIO, INC. for $600,000. With the purchase, NEW SOUTH will cease its time brokerage agreement under which it programs FLINN BROADCASTING CORP. Classic Country WJXN-F (100.9 THE LEGEND)/UTICA, MS-JACKSON.
In other filings with the FCC, HEALTH WRITERS, INC. is transferring low power FM WIDE-LP/MADISON, WI to MADISON MAINSTREAM RADIO, INC. The former is held 50-50 by ERIC HOWLAND and TOM KOZLOVSKY; the latter is split equally by HOWLAND, KOZLOVSKY, BOB PARK, and BARB PARK.
CHALK HILL COMMUNICATIONS, LLC has closed on the sale of Adult Standards KEBE-A/JACKSONVILLE, TX to NORTH TEXAS RADIO GROUP, LLC for $50,000.
