Spotify 'Landmark' Series To Profile Green Day In 'The Early Years'

SPOTIFY is rolling out another segment of its original video series, LANDMARK, which highlights monumental moments in music history.  The latest installment features platinum-plus punk-rockers GREEN DAY. 

The four-episode series will chronicle the rise of the band, from their origins playing shows in BEREKELEY’s notorious GILMAN STREET venue in the late '80s to the release of the platinum-selling "Dookie" in 1994. "GREEN DAY: The Early Years" will check in with the band today to discuss their cultural impact, their history together, and what still guides their musical ambitions.

"GREEN DAY: The Early Years" features musicians who have been inspired by the band including ED SHEERAN, BRETT GUREWITZ, ALL TIME LOW and JON GINOLI, among others.
