NAB, NABEF 'Conversation About Reporting on Race' Rescheduled For April 12th

The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS and the NAB EDUCATION FOUNDATION's event and live stream billed as "A Conversation About Reporting on Race," originally scheduled for MARCH 14th at the NEWSEUM in WASHINGTON and postponed due to a snowstorm, has been rescheduled for APRIL 12th at 12:30p (ET).
The event, part of the NAB's Awareness in Reporting program, is scheduled to include a panel with NPR's ROBERT GARCIA, independent KRON-TV/SAN FRANCISCO's JANICE GIN, CBS affiliate WUSA-TV/WASHINGTON's DELIA CONÇALVES, and the UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI SCHOOL OF JOURNALISM's DAVE KURPIUS, followed by WESTWOOD ONE NEWS' JAN JOHNSON speaking with retired DALLAS Police Chied and current ABC NEWS contributor DAVID BROWN and the ST. PETERSBURG POLICE DEPARTMENT's Rev. KENNY IRBY. The NAB's President/CEO GORDON SMITH will open the proceedings with an introductory address.
