BENNIE HEWITT's CAPITAL ASSETS INC. is selling Classic Rock WHOD (DIXIE 94.5) and Adult Standards WRJX-A (RADIO JACKSON)/JACKSON, AL and Classic Country WBMH (BAMA 106)/GROVE HILL, AL to JASON C. KYZER's RADIO CENTER OF JACKSON, INC. for $500,000 ($75,000 cash, $425,000 in a promissory note).

In other filings with the FCC, DAVID BERTRAND is transferring News-Talk KYAH/DELTA, UT to CHRIS CASH for no consideration.  BERTRAND has been overseeing the station for several years and is leaving, transferring the station to his replacement at the ministry that operates the station.  In the section of the application requiring disclosure of ownership of other stations, the answer reads, "Only 1 station is owned.  What explanation do you want."  The station's license is held by DCO HOLDING LC, which is not mentioned in the application.

RAM COMMUNICATIONS, INC. has closed on the sale of Religion WZAP-A/BRISTOL, VA to CHARLES A. LAWSON's AWAKEN BROADCASTING INC. for $350,000.

OZARK MOUNTAIN BROADCASTING, LLC has closed on the sale of Classic Rock KXIO/CLARKSVILLE, AR to BOBBY CALDWELL's EAB OF CLARKSVILLE, LLC for $200,000.

MARGARET ANN PENNY has closed on the transfer of her 100% interest in KRYSTAL BROADCASTING, INC., licensee of KYSL and K2226AH/FRISCO, CO, K222BQ/GRAYMONT, CO, K226CI/BRECKENRIDGE, CO, and K277DB/SILVERTHORNE, CO , to ROGER L. OGDEN in a divorce settlement, with PENNY getting $1.54 million for her interest.

MIKA and JESSICA NUGENT have closed on the sale of Classic Rock KSEK-F (CLASSIC ROCK 99.1)/GIRARD-PITTSBURG, KS to EDWARD W. SANTEE and O. GENE BICKNELL's AMERICAN MEDIA INVESTMENTS, INC. for $60,000.

And BIG BROADCASTING, INC. has closed on the sale of K259CF/SOUTH FRESNO, CA to GARY M. COCOLA for $10,000.

In a deal yet to appear in the FCC database, RESULT RADIO GROUP (WINDOM RADIO, INC. and KBEW, INC.) is selling Oldies KBEW-A and Country KBEW-F (98 COUNTRY)/BLUE EARTH, MN and Country KDOM-A-F/WINDOM, MN to DOYLE and CAROLYN DECKER's RIVERFRONT BROADCASTING LLC for $2.375 million.  SUSAN PATRICK and JASON JAMES of PATRICK COMMUNICATIONS served as exclusive brokers for the deal.
