Mike McVay, Leslie Fram Are First Innovation In Music Award Recipients

CUMULUS MEDIA SVP/Content & Programming MIKE MCVAY and CMT SVP/Music Strategy LESLIE FRAM are the first award recipients for the just-announced, inaugural INNOVATION IN MUSIC AWARDS (NET NEWS 3/27).

MCVAY will be presented the Heritage Award in Innovation, recognizing his career commitment to identifying groundbreaking initiatives and discovering new talent. FRAM is receiving the Innovation In National Media Award, acknowledging her as a trailblazer in exposing new music on a national level. Both will accept their honors on TUESDAY, JUNE 6th at THE WESTIN in NASHVILLE.

“We are excited to start this event with such well-respected names as MIKE MCVAY and LESLIE FRAM,” said COLD RIVER RECORDS CEO PETE O’HEERON, founder of the INNOVATION IN MUSIC AWARDS. “They were the first two phone calls for our inaugural show. MIKE’s lifetime of innovation in programming and LESLIE’s innovative program, 'Next Women Of Country Music' make them a ‘slam dunk’ for this event!” Nominations for awards are being accepted and reviewed by the IMA selection committee, and can be made through the INNOVATION MUSIC AWARDS nomination form.
