WTQR/Greensboro-Winston Salem, NC Taps Casey Carter For PD Duties

iHEARTMEDIA Country WKKT/CHARLOTTE APD/MD/afternoon host CASEY CARTER has been named PD for Country sister WTQR (Q104.1)/GREENSBORO-WINSTON SALEM, NC effective MONDAY, APRIL 17th. She fills the vacancy created when TODD NIXON departed in DECEMBER (NET NEWS 12/23).

"I couldn't be more thrilled to join a legendary station like Q104.1," said CARTER. "I look forward to working with the fantastic staff and am happy to serve the VIRGINIA-CAROLINA region." CARTER has been with WKKT since 2013 (NET NEWS 10/21/13), and her previous career stops include WSTH/COLUMBUS, GA; WOBB/ALBANY, GA; WQIK/JACKSONVILLE; WNOE/NEW ORLEANS; and WZZK/BIRMINGHAM.
