'The Life Of Pablo' Achieves Platinum Milestone

KANYE WEST became the first artist to have a streaming-only album achieve RIAA platinum certification when "The Life Of Pablo' earned the honor today for consumption of over 1 million equivalent units. The album has been streamed over 3 billion times worldwide.

"The Life Of Pablo," released FEBRUARY 2016, originally made history when it became the first streaming-only album to reach  #1 on the U.S.  album chart, the seventh #1 album of his award-studded career.

GRAMMY-nominated for Best Rap Album, "The Life Of Pablo" galvanized fans and critics. with virtually every one of its 20 tracks hitting the singles charts in the U.S. and/or U.K. over the course of 2016, including “Famous" and "Ultralight Beam."
