PODTRAC's MARCH 2017 ranking of podcast publishers shows NPR remaining on top but THIS AMERICAN LIFE/SERIAL back in the number two slot on the strength of the debut of "S-TOWN." WNYC STUDIOS drops back to third place, and the other changes come at the bottom of the top 10, where AMERICAN PUBLIC MEDIA rises from 10th to 8th, dropping WBUR/BOSTON to ninth and THE MOTH to tenth.

The top 10 networks showed an increase on a month-to-month basis for unique audience, and were up 24% in total global unique streams and downloads, a rebound from FEBRUARY's drop.

The rankings, which only include shows opting in for PODTRAC's Podcast Measurement System (and missing some of the largest shows and publishers) and ranked by unique U.S. monthly audience:
