NPR News To Hold Live Events On Power And The Presidency

NPR NEWS is holding another round of live "A Nation Engaged" events around the country, focusing this time on the power of the presidency. The events are being timed to coincide with the week leading up to the TRUMP administration's 100th day.
The events include:
- APRIL 20th at the REAGAN LIBRARY in SIMI VALLEY, CA, hosted by CALIFORNIA LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY News-Talk KCLU-A-F/THOUSAND OAKS-SANTA BARBARA's LANCE OROZCO and NPR's WADE GOODWYN, featuring RONALD REAGAN biographer CRAIG SHIRLEY and HOOVER INSTITUTE Research Fellow PETER ROBINSON.
- APRIL 24th at the CARTER LIBRARY in ATLANTA with ATLANTA PUBLIC SCHOOLS News-Talk WABE/ATLANTA's DENIS O'HAYER and NPR's DEBBI ELLIOTT, joined by former Congressmen BUDDY DARDEN and LYNN WESTMORELAND and EMORY UNIVERSITY professor ANDRA GILLESPIE.
- APRIL 25th at the HOOVER LIBRARY in WEST BRANCH, IA with IOWA PUBLIC RAIDO's BEN KIEFFER and NPR's SARAH MCCAMMON, plus the UNIVERSITY OF NORTHERN IOWA's DONNA HOFFMAN and presidential historian TIM WALCH.
- APRIL 25th at the TRUMAN LIBRARY in INDEPENDENCE, MO with UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI- KANSAS CITY News-Talk KCUR/KANSAS CITY's STEVE KRASKE and NPR's JOHN BURNETT.
After the events, a special edition of ON POINT on APRIL 27th will discuss the topic, with excerpts from the live events.
