WES MINTER, the longtime talk radio host, passed away TUESDAY (4/18) after a heart attack at 63.
MINTER was well-known for his stints at WSB-A/ATLANTA, WCCO-A/MINNEAPOLIS, KCMO-A/KANSAS CITY, WHIO-A/DAYTON and KRMG-A/TULSA and was a frequent fill-in at KDKA-A/PITTSBURGH in recent years while working a separate career in corporate sales outside of radio, most recently as Senior Strategic Accounts Manager - Food & Retail Segment at WASTE MANAGEMENT in PITTSBURGH.
Friends will be received FRIDAY 4-7p (ET) at the JOSEPH M. SOMMA FUNERAL HOME, INC. in ROBINSON TWP., PA. A service will be held on SATURDAY morning at KEN MAWR UNITED PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH in KENNEDY TWP., PA.
