Our thoughts are with the family and friends of ABC RADIO/AUSTRALIA sportscaster WALLY FOREMAN, who died of a heart attack THURSDAY afternoon (11/2) in PERTH at 58. He had been working out at a local gym TUESDAY morning when he suffered the heart attack and had been in a medically induced coma since then.
FOREMAN was one of AUSTRALIA's most familiar sports voices from his work on ABC RADIO's "GRANDSTAND" and commentary on a wide range of sports events, including basketball, hockey, and Australian rules football. He was also the Director of the WESTERN AUSTRALIAN INSTITUTE OF SPORTS for 17 years.
