Condolences to family and friends of former BROADCASTING MAGAZINE publisher LAWRENCE TAISHOFF, who died WEDNESDAY (11/1) in WASHINGTON after a long illness at 73. TAISHOFF, son of the magazine's founder SOL TAISHOFF, joined the magazine in 1958 and became Publisher in 1971, later selling the magazine to TIMES MIRROR for $75 million in 1986 (it is now BROADCASTING AND CABLE, owned by REED BUSINESS INFORMATION).
