DeRay McKesson To Host New Podcast For Crooked Media

CROOKED MEDIA's fourth podcast will be a new series hosted by activist DERAY MCKESSON.  BUZZFEED reports that MCKESSON, who became well-known through the Black Lives Matter movement and is presently the head of activist group CAMPAIGN ZERO, will be hosting a show likely to be called "A WORD WITH DERAY."

CROOKED MEDIA co-founder and "POD SAVE AMERICA" co-host JON FAVREAU told BUZZFEED, "Because we're growing so slowly every person that we bring on we almost want them to have multiple talents.  And I think with DERAY, he's someone who's obviously knows how to organize and been involved with the movement, but he's also brilliant and down to earth when you talk to him which also fits in with our brand and what we're trying to do."

CROOKED MEDIA currently distributes political podcasts "POD SAVE AMERICA," JON LOVETT's "LOVETT OR LEAVE IT," and ANA MARIE COX's "WITH FRIENDS LIKE THESE," all highly ranked on the APPLE Podcasts charts.
