WRME-LP (MeTVfm 87.7)/Chicago Names Local Broadcast Vet Bill Cochran Radio Image Director

Veteran broadcast production and imaging specialist BILL COCHRAN has been named Radio Image Director at VENTURE TECHNOLOGIES GROUP Oldies WRME-LP (METVFM 87.7)/CHICAGO, it was announced by WEIGEL BROADCASTING CO. Vice Chairman NEAL SABIN, who operate the station. 

The 35-year vet brings with him a track record of production experience and voice talent to the position, as well as intimate knowledge of the CHICAGO market and its listeners. Prior to joining WRME-LP, he worked for two separate stints at WXRT and also WNUA.

WRME-LP PD RICK O'DELL stated, “BILL's uncommon ability to write highly visual copy, bringing promotional and imaging concepts to life, will be invaluable as METVFM continues to grow,. His addition to the team will be a major creative resource for the station.” 

Added SABIN, “I consider BILL the premiere radio production and imaging specialist in the CHICAGO market, and one of the best voices in radio. His insights and inviting delivery will be a welcomed addition at METVFM.”

METVFM 87.7 debuted in MARCH 2015.
