Changes at NEW NORTHWEST Top 40 KFAT/ANCHORAGE, as PD DREW STONE has tendered his resignation and will be returning to CALIFORNIA. Additionally, KFAT’s "Morning Chaos" begins MONDAY morning with the newly relocated BRAD ERICKSON. With STONE’s departure, KEKE LUV shifts from middays to afternoons until a new PD is hired. And DJ ADAM FOCUS continues nights.
NNB/ANCHORAGE GM TOM OAKES has begun an immediate search for STONE's replacement. Successful candidates will understand the 18-34 female demo, makes promotions bigger than life, and most importantly know that it snows, gets cold, stays dark 19 hours a day during the winter, but light in the summer so you can go golfing at Midnight.

Meanwhile, ALASKA has a new Rock station, as NEW NORTHWEST Classic Rock KRPM/ANCHORAGE became KXLW (X- ROCK 96 DOT 3), using the handle "Everything That Rocks."
OAKES, who will act as PD until one is found, told ALL ACCESS, "X-ROCK features the voice of STEVE STONE and new imaging created by KYLE MCCOY. PETER SMITH from DEMERS PROGRAMMING has signed on as the station advisor." The music will feature rock from the '70s, '80s and '90s.
