CUMULUS' RADIO LICENSE HOLDING CBC, LLC is selling Silent KFNZ-A/SALT LAKE CITY, UT to VIC MICHAEL's KONA COAST RADIO, LLC for $100,000. The station went dark in FEBRUARY when CUMULUS sold off the station's transmitter location.
In other filings with the FCC, HAPPY DOG COMMUNICATIONS, LLC is selling K224CJ/PHOENIX to HUBBARD's PHOENIX FCC LICENSE SUB, LLC for $1.8 million. The translator rebroadcasts Oldies KAZG-A (OLDIES 92.7)/PHOENIX via KDKB-HD2.
BRANTLEY BROADCAST ASSOCIATES LLC has requested an extension of its Silent STA for WLEE-A/WINONA, MS due to staffing issues.
R3 PARTNERS, LLC has filed for an extension of its Silent STA for WTID/THOMASTON, AL due to staffing issues.
MUSIC MINISTRIES, INC. has applied for an STA to operate WBGW-A/EVANSVILLE, IN at reduced power due to problems with its directional array.
And UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL FLORIDA has requested an STA to increase the digital sideband power at WUCF-F/ORLANDO in excess of -14dbc.
Also, BEASLEY BROADCAST GROUP, INC. has closed on the sale of six stations in EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA to CURTIS MEDIA GROUP's CMG COASTAL CAROLINA, LLC for $11 million. The stations include Classic Hits WNCT-F and Beach Music WNCT-A/GREENVILLE, NC; Rock WSFL-F and Top 40 WIKS (101.9 KISS FM)/NEW BERN, NC; Hot AC WMGV (V103.3)/NEWPORT, NC; and Active Rock WXNR (99X)/GRIFTON, NC. CURTIS in turn has spun off WNCT-F to INNER BANKS MEDIA, LLC. MICHAEL BERGNER of BERGNER AND CO. served as broker for the deal.
