A reporter for FOX NEWS RADIO is suing the network and alleging that she was fired for reporting sexual discrimination via a hotline set up by FOX with the PAUL, WEISS law firm.
REUTERS reports that MIDDLE EAST/NORTH AFRICA correspondent JESSICA GOLLOHER filed suit THURSDAY (5/5) alleging that the hotline set up in the wake of sexual harassment claims against ROGER AILES and BILL O'REILLY was being used "to paint targets on the backs of employees." GOLLOHER said she called the hotline in APRIL to report that she was passed over to lead coverage of the SOCHI Winter Olympics in 2014 for a male reporter who was based in LONDON and did not speak Russian despite GOLLOHER being the network's MOSCOW-based reporter; she also alleged that anchor DAVE ANTHONY "spoke down to her" and treated her as "vapid" and "unintelligent."
GOLLOHER joined FOX NEWS RADIO full-time in 2014 after freelancing for FOX, the CBC and NPR and reporting for AMERICAN UNIVERSITY News-Talk WAMU/WASHINGTON.
