The Commission also rejected HOLSTON VALLEY BROADCASTING CORP.'s Application for Review of the transfer of CONTINENTAL MEDIA GROUP, LLC, licensee of Silent WXMY-A/SALTVILLE, VA, from JEFFREY RAYNOR to WENDY RAYNOR and its license renewal application. HOLSTON was appealing the dismissal of a 2016 Petition for Reconsideration as procedurally defective; the Commission upheld the dismissal, finding that the petition was untimely.
And the license of SAGEBRUSH BROADCASTING COMPANY, INC. for KEVA-A/EVANSTON, WY has been canceled under the FCC's Red Light policy due to failure to pay debts owed to the Commission. The station has been silent since 2014.
