After agreeing to a $30,000 fine under a Consent Decree with the FCC for false certifications in modification applications, JUAN ALBERTO AYALA has closed on the sale of W228DF/FOUR CORNERS, FL to ELOHIM GROUP CORPORATION as part of a deal that also included W233BX/FLANDERS, NY; K292GN/SAN BERNARDINO, CA; K286BW/WARFIELD-MIDLAND, TX; K259CI/TEXARKANA, TX; and K253BT/ABILENE, TX and totaled $300,000.

RICHARD GREENE's CULVER COMMUNICATIONS II, INC. has closed on the sale of Adult Standards WECK-A and W275BB (TIMELESS WECK)/CHEEKTOWAGA-BUFFALO to WILLIAM J. OSTRANDER 's RADIO ONE BUFFALO, LLC for $550,000.

And STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK AT OSWEGO has closed on the sale of W266CV/DRYDEN, NY to PITTSBURGH PUBLIC MEDIA for $50,000.  The buyer plans to move the translator to rebroadcast Jazz WZUM-A/BRADDOCK, PA, which simulcasts noncommercial Jazz WYZR-F/BETHANY, WV.

The Commission also rejected HOLSTON VALLEY BROADCASTING CORP.'s Application for Review of the transfer of CONTINENTAL MEDIA GROUP, LLC, licensee of Silent WXMY-A/SALTVILLE, VA, from JEFFREY RAYNOR to WENDY RAYNOR and its license renewal application.  HOLSTON was appealing the dismissal of a 2016 Petition for Reconsideration as procedurally defective; the Commission upheld the dismissal, finding that the petition was untimely.

And the license of SAGEBRUSH BROADCASTING COMPANY, INC. for KEVA-A/EVANSTON, WY has been canceled under the FCC's Red Light policy due to failure to pay debts owed to the Commission.  The station has been silent since 2014.
