Report: NPR Moving Digital Services Team From Boston To D.C.

CURRENT.ORG is reporting that NPR's Digital Services team will be moving from BOSTON to WASHINGTON, DC, where the network's Digital Media team is already located.  The move will take place in SEPTEMBER and involves 32 staffers,

In a statement, NPR Chief Digital Officer THOMAS HJELM said that the move was not financial but rather a strategic adjustment to combine the teams into a "Digital Network" to "develop and evolve digital tools, systems and processes to support audience engagement across NPR and Member station platforms and reflect one vision for success.”
