Sony/ATV Music Publishing Unveils Newly Enhanced Songwriter Royalty Portal

SONY/ATV MUSIC PUBLISHING has introduced a number of new upgrades to its songwriter royalty portal SCORE, providing access to "the most comprehensive and transparent data" about their earnings to date.

SCORE allows songwriters and their business managersthe ability to check their current royalty balance instantly, rather than waiting until the end of any statement period. Balance information will be constantly updated, enabling SONY/ATV clients to see their latest earnings as soon as the company receives them and to a level of detail not offered by any other music publisher.  

Detailed data about current revenue is available alongside an overview of historic earnings information that can be searchable and analyzed by song title, income source, time period and territory.

Another new feature is SCORECARD, which uses graphics to offer a simple and up-to-date, top-view summary of a writer’s royalties for both current and historic periods. Through the SCORECARD, clients can also drill down further to access in-depth information about current and historic earnings in unrivalled granular detail.

There are also plans for the roll-out imminently of a SCORE app.

SCORE is powered by SONY/ATV’s TEMPO system, which offers a global centralized database, transparent data from more than 30,000 income sources worldwide and royalties analysis by song title, income source, time period and territory.
