Former Chicago GM, GSM Kelly Seaton Dies At 77

Condolences to family and friends of former CHICAGO radio executive KELLY SEATON, who died APRIL 5th of carotid cancer in WEST DES MOINES, IA at 77, according to the CHICAGO TRIBUNE.

SEATON, an IOWA native who worked at MCCANN ERICKSON and LEE KING ADVERTISING before her radio career started, became NSM at TRIBUNE News-Talk WGN-A/CHICAGO in the early '80s and then GSM before transferring to then-sister Full Service WICC-A/BRIDGEPORT, CT as GM.  In 1989, SEATON returned to CHICAGO as GM at the old AC WFYR, then moved to ABC News-Talk WLS-A as GSM. 

More recently, she returned to the advertising business and worked as VP and Media Director at SELECT MARKETING until her retirement in SEPTEMBER 2016 for health reasons.
