New WREF/Henderson, KY-Evansville, IN To Launch Sports Format In June With ESPN Radio

HENSON MEDIA's WREF/SEBREE, KY will sign on with a Sports format and return ESPN RADIO to the HENDERSON-EVANSVILLE area, owner ED HENSON said on sister Classic Hits WSON-A-W243CU/HENDERSON, according to the EVANSVILLE COURIER AND PRESS.

HENSON plans to sign WREF on the air in early JUNE, with a lineup that includes ESPN RADIO programming and the statewide syndicated KENTUCKY SPORTS RADIO with MATT JONES, plus a one-hour local show at 5p and ST. LOUIS CARDINALS baseball.  Former EVANSVILLE ESPN affiliate WJLT was flipped by TOWNSQUARE MEDIA to AC as "MY 105.3" last DECEMBER.
