Ron Walters, Longtime KTOB/Petaluma, CA Host, Passes

Condolences to family and friends of former KTOB-A/PETALUMA, CA morning host RON WALTERS, who died SUNDAY (5/14) of heart disease at his home in PETALUMA at 84, according to the SANTA ROSA PRESS DEMOCRAT.

WALTERS joined KTOB (now CALIFORNIA BROADCASTING CORP. Regional Mexican KZNB-A (LA Z)) in OCTOBER 1963 and hosted mornings until 1996.  He also taught music at SONOMA STATE UNIVERSITY.
