Country Stars Shine At 'Billboard Music Awards'

Country artists were well-represented at last night's (5/21) "BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS" airing on ABC-TV. BMLG RECORDS duo FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE performed their hit "H.O.L.Y." alongside R&B artist JOHN LEGEND, and MCA NASHVILLE artist SAM HUNT performed his recent two-week #1, "Body Like A Back Road."
Country winners at the "BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS" included the following:
- Top Country Artist -- BLAKE SHELTON
- Top Country Tour -- KENNY CHESNEY
- Top Country Album -- CHRIS STAPLETON, "Traveller"
- Top Country Song -- FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE, "H.O.L.Y."
- Top Country Collaboration -- KENNY CHESNEY featuring P!NK, "Setting The World On Fire"
Additionally, HILLARY SCOTT of CAPITOL NASHVILLE group LADY ANTEBELLUM took home a trophy for Top Christian Song for "Thy Will," which was part of her HILLARY SCOTT & THE SCOTT FAMILY Christian project. See a full list of winners across all genres here.
