Nederlander Concerts Welcomes Back Shane Shuhart As Sr. Director/Talent

SHANE SHUHART has returned to NEDERLANDER CONCERTS as Sr. Dir./Talent, reporting to CEO ALEX HODGES.

SHUHART will assist the booking team on programming venues across the country as well as focus on NEDERLANDER’s core venues, which include the HOLLYWOOD PANTAGES, CITY NATIONAL CIVIC OF SAN JOSE, CITY NATIONAL GROVE OF ANAHEIM, VINA ROBLES AMPHITHEATRE in PASO ROBLES, CA, PAPA MURPHY'S PARK at CAL EXPO in SACRAMENTO and STATESMAN SKYLINE THEATER at the LONG CENTER in AUSTIN, TX,, along with third- party facilities.

During his previous tenure at NEDERLANDER, he successfully booked shows at the CITY NATIONAL GROVE OF ANAHEIM, VIEJAS’ CONCERTS IN THE PARK and the GREEK THEATRE, under NEDERLANDER’s management, among other venues," HODGES said. "With our rapid growth nationally, it was necessary to add a key player to our team to support our expanding footprint.”

The 20-year-plus veteran previously worked for NEDERLANDER CONCERTS from 2008-'11 as Dir./Talent and programmed venues from SAN JOSE to SAN DIEGO. Most recently, SHUHART was a talent buyer for LIVE NATION ENTERTAINMENT's PHILADELPHIA office, where he booked shows for LIVE NATION’s owned and operated amphitheaters, arenas, and other third-party venues throughout the PENNSYLVANIA and the NEW JERSEY region. He also oversaw booking for the SANDS BETHLEHEM EVENT CENTER, THE PAVILION AT MONTAGE and the PEACH MUSIC FESTIVAL.

SHUHART began his career at the AGENCY FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS (APA) in NEW YORK, and became the territorial talent agent for APA’s NORTHEAST region, when he moved to LOS ANGELES.
