OTTO RADIO is adding audio news stories from CBS NEWS, ABC NEWS, BLOOMBERG, AP, and AFP, allowing users to access complete news coverage as part of their customized streams. In addition, the streaming audio app, which automatically curates podcasts and audio news based on a listener’s interests and allows the user to create dedicated radio stations based on more than 1.5 million topics, is developing original content, with two new shows added, one, "TWEETER-IN-CHIEF," a daily audio transcription of President TRUMP's tweets, and the other, "90 SECOND DRILL," a sports report hosted by NBC SPORTS RADIO's DAN SCHWARTZMAN.
“In the age of the echo chamber, we provide our curious-minded listeners with multiple perspectives from a variety of trusted sources,” said VP of Programming and Audience Development REENITA MALHOTRA HORA. “OTTO is different from traditional single-source news providers because we offer a cross-section of premium news sources for a balanced perspective. The addition of ABC, CBS, THE ASSOCIATED PRESS and AFP, along with BLOOMBERG, cements this value proposition.”
OTTO's ABC NEWS content will include POLITICAL INSIGHTS, WALL STREET NOW, ENTERTAINMENT UPDATES, and TECH TRENDS, along with podcasts "NO LIMITS WITH REBECCA JARVIS," "THIS WEEK WITH GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS," "10% HAPPIER WITH DAN HARRIS," and "WORLD NEWS TONIGHT WITH DAVID MUIR." CBS NEWS will include its podcast portfolio from CNET, plus "CBS NEWS IN DEPTH," "EYE ON WASHINGTON," "FORTUNE BUSINESS," "JILL ON MONEY," "MONEYWATCH," "ENTERTAINMENT REPORT," "YOUR DAILY DISH," "SCIENCE TODAY," and others. BLOOMBERG will include BLOOMBERG SURVEILLANCE and BLOOMBERG MARKETS plus podcasts; AP and AFP will provide breaking news and special coverage.
