It was 40 years ago that CORUS ENTERTAINMENT Rock CILQ (Q107)/TORONTO signed on with its first song, MURRAY McLAUCHLAN's "Hard Rock Town," and this year the station is celebrating in style with a 40th BIRTHDAY BASH next FRIDAY, JUNE 2nd at the PHOENIX CONCERT THEATER featuring DWAYNE GRETZKY. 

Leading up to the big event, Q107 held a series of promotions and contests, including Q7 YOU and WEAR YOUR BAND T TO WORK DAY, which took place last month, as they encouraged listeners to share a picture of them wearing their favorite rock T-shirt on social media using the hashtag #QBandTDay. Each post qualified for a chance to win tickets to Q107’s 40th BIRTHDAY BASH..
