Yet Another Quiet Day In FCC Files: No New Deals, Another Pair Of Silent STA Requests

Another day has gone by in the FCC database with no new station sales to report, with just a pair of Silent STA filings and a closing appearing.

In the filings. EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION has applied for a Silent STA for K249DT/ATCHISON, KS because its primary station is at reduced power and cannot be received at the translator site.

JERI LYN BROADCASTING, INC. has requested an extension of its Silent STA for K260CO/MAMMOTH LAKES, CA pending modifications.

And THE WAY RADIO GROUP, licensee of Contemporary Christian KETE (THE WAY 99.7 FM)/SULPHUR BLUFF, TX and Adult Hits KRVA-F (107.1 CELEBRATE FM)/CAMPBELL, TX, has closed on its reorganization as PROMISE RADIO GROUP LLC after the MARCH 20th arrest of co-owner and KRVA morning host CRAIG "MOOSE" MORGAN on felony theft charges.  In the reorganization, CRAIG and DAWN MORGAN's 78% share is being divided up among the other board members, with no consideration changing hands.
