UnIversal Music Publishing Ups JW Beekman To Chief Financial Officer

UNIVERSAL MUSIC PUBLISHING GROUP (UMPG) has promoted JW BEEKMAN to Chief Financial Officer, Worldwide, effective immediately. He succeeds MICHAEL SAMMIS who was recently named Pres. of UNIVERSAL PUBLISHING PRODUCTION MUSIC.

Previously SVP/NORTH AMERICAN Finance, BEEKMAN will oversee all Finance activities for the company’s worldwide businesses, as well as UMPG’s Global Technology group.

“JW brings deep expertise in finance, administration, and licensing, combined with more than a decade of being a key member of our executive team," UMPG Chairman/CEO JODY GERSON said.
