After a busy day of radio deals MONDAY (6/6), the FCC database went a lot quieter on TUESDAY, with no new deal filings but several engineering STAs popping up.
Applying for engineering STAs were CALVARY CHAPEL OF TWIN FALLS, INC. for Classic Country KMHI-A/MOUNTAIN HOME, ID (reduced power while engineers investigate transmitter problem); CREATIVE EDUCATIONAL MEDIA CORPORATION, INC. for noncommercial Religion KDIM/COWETA, OK (reduced power after transmitter failure); CUMULUS LICENSING LLC for Alternative W255CJ (99X)/ATLANTA (reduced power to address interference complaints from GRADICK COMMUNICATIONS Classic Hits WWGA (GREAT CLASSICS 98.9)/TALLAPOOSA, GA); and RED WOLF BROADCASTING CORPORATION for Oldies WACM-A (KOOL RADIO)/SPRINGFIELD, MA (reduced power due to technical problems).
HELLINGER BROADCASTING, INC. has applied for a Silent STA for Sports WABV-A/ABBEVILLE, SC because its sole owner/officer/director passed away.
STARLIGHT BROADCASTING LLC has requested an extension of its Silent STA for Classic Country KBNH-A (AM 1230 THE COYOTE)/BURNS, OR due to technical problems.
And PILGRIM COMMUNICATIONS, INC. has closed on the sale of News-Talk KSKE-A/BUENA VISTA, CO to MONTE SPEARMAN for $35,000.
