MTV Live To Air Documentary On HARD Festival's 10th Anniversary

MTV LIVE will premiere "HARD10-A Decade Of Crashing Sound Barriers," with HARD, HOLY SHIP! and DESTRUCTO, a documentary chronicling the story of one of the greatest party brands over the past decade, on SATURDAY, JUNE 10th, at 9p (ET). 

HARD will commence streaming the documentary at NOON (PT) via www.facebook.com/hardfest with a FACEBOOK LIVE interview with GARY RICHARDS to discuss the film set for 1p (PT).   

This 30-minute special highlights the history of HARD, one of the world's most influential live music brands, the story of its founder, music executive and producer/DJ GARY RICHARDS aka DESTRUCTO and a behind-the-scenes take on HOLY SHIP!, HARD's electronic music cruise. 

The documentary marks the debut of prolific music journalist STEVE APPLEFORD (ROLLING STONE, L.A. TIMES, L.A. WEEKLY).  Tracks from DOG BLOOD, APHEX TWIN, DESTRUCTO, GIORGIO MORODER, DUSKY E-40 f/TOO $HORT, JUSTIN MARTIN, GHASTLY and CARTE BLANCHE highlight the soundtrack of the story.

"The music landscape has changed drastically over the last 10 years but one thing always remains the same good music is good music," RICHARDS said. "When HARD was getting off the ground, it was about bringing people together in downtown L.A. to experience quality music together.
