LAID BACK FESTIVAL has revealed early details of its 2017 season, to be presented in the spirit of its beloved co-founder, the late GREGG ALLMAN. The traveling celebration of music and food will be headlined by a line-up that this year includes JACKSON BROWNE, STEVE WINWOOD, LITTLE STEVEN AND THE DISCIPLES OF SOUL, PETER WOLF and JAIMOE's JASSSZ BAND.
Presented in partnership by longtime ALLMAN manager MICHAEL LEHMAN and LIVE NATION, LAID BACK is set to visit three U.S. cities, including HOLMDEL, NJ's PNC BANK ARTS CENTER (THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 21st), HARTFORD, CT's XFINITY THEATRE (SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 23rd), and WANTAGH, NY's NORTHWELL HEALTH AT JONES BEACH THEATER (SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 24th).
Presale ticketing begins TUESDAY, JUNE 13th; all remaining tickets will then be released to the general public on FRIDAY, JUNE 16th at 10a (ET). For complete details and ticket information, please visit LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster.com, and LaidBackFestival.com.
The version of LAID BACK at the WANTAGH, NY, date will feature artists performing on two distinctive stages, the main "LAID BACK" stage and the more intimate "LOW COUNTRY" stage. The latter stage -- which takes its name from GREGG ALLMAN's 2011 solo album, "Low Country Blues" - will see performances from JAIMOE'S JASSSZ BAND, GARLAND JEFFREYS and SCOTT SHARRARD AND THE BRICKYARD BAND.
